At Mountview Boys and Girls Football Club, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and members. We understand that concerns and grievances can arise, and we want to ensure these are handled promptly, fairly, and transparently.

How to Raise a Grievance

If you have a concern or grievance relating to any aspect of the Club’s activities, behaviour, or environment, please follow these steps:

1. Submit Your Grievance
Use our official grievance form to provide detailed information about your concern. This form helps us gather all necessary details to assess and address the issue appropriately.


2. Acknowledgement of Receipt
Once submitted, the grievance will be acknowledged by our appointed Third-Party Disciplinary Officer, Leigh Fagan. You will receive an automatic confirmation that your message has been received.


3. Review and Investigation
Your grievance will be reviewed carefully in accordance with the guidelines established by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and the District Disciplinary Supervisory League (DDSL). This ensures a consistent, fair process for everyone involved.


4. Formal Meeting
All parties named in the grievance will be invited to a formal meeting, where a notetaker will be present to record the discussion accurately. This helps to maintain transparency and fairness throughout the process.


5. Outcome and Communication
After thorough consideration, a decision will be communicated to the parties involved. Any disciplinary actions, if necessary, will follow FAI and DDSL protocols.

Important Notes

It is essential that grievances are submitted honestly and with accurate information. False or malicious claims can result in disciplinary action against the complainant.

Your privacy and confidentiality will be respected at all times throughout the grievance process.
